Long story short - my iPhone 3G that I'd intended to hold onto got stolen on the NYC subway. 
I replaced it with a 3GS and obviously would like to get theft insurance this time...I used up my partial eligibility with AT&T so to replace it again at this time would cost the full $700 price.
SquareTrade I know doesn't cover theft but State Farm has been mentioned on this forum so I went today...only to be told that as of August 1 (yes, only two days ago - arrgh) iPhones are NOT covered. I asked about renter's insurance but the deductible is $500 so that's out.
Surely there must be *some* option out there? Any help would be appreciated...thanks!
