I'm having a strange issue, but I would like to see if anyone else experiences the same thing before I pursue an exchange.

On my 6S, whenever I'm on a regular voice call, no VoLTE or HD Voice, whenever the other person speaks, there is static behind their voice. I can hear a low white noise or static when both parties are silent, and then when the other person speaks it's almost like I hear static, the person talking over the static, then back to the low white noise. Almost like using a walkie talkie where it sounds like the other person engages the mic, speaks, then disengages the mic.

I can almost swear this was not present on my 6 Plus. I'm on Verizon in the Charlotte, NC area, but this happens no matter where I'm located.

Anyone else notice the same thing?

I'm having the exact same problem! Exchanged one 6s for another today and the problem is still there. Did you get any resolution?

No resolution. I think this is just normal behavior for the 6S, and it may be exclusive to Verizon only.
