Hello,

When i have the power cable plugged in into the laptop and i am on skype using a logitech headset it gives off a little humming sound. but as soon as i unplug the power cable it goes away. what can i do??

I have tried plugging it into the keyboard and both USB ports and it still does it.

I also have the aluminium macbook, and whilst plugged in if you move your fingers along the metal you can feel the static causing a friction of some form. When unplugged it just feels like smooth metal. Strange

Yea i just noticed that.. but its messing with my headset and its becoming a problem for me.

What happens if the macbook body is touching something metal that is earthed or will discharge the static by other means? I can't test right now, but it may work?
