Hello, I static shocked my MacBook port. Will this effect the computer in any harmful way? If it is still working is it fine?

Pretty much so, yes - if it's working now with no issues then you should be fine.
Unlike water damage, you'll know pretty quickly if you've damaged the MacBook.
