I have a number of Word documents that I use on a daily basis and have the Get Info "Stationary Pad" box checked. The drill has always been that you double click on the document and a new document titled "Document" with a sequential number in the name opened. Now all of a sudden when you double click on the stationary pad documents, a copy is created with the same name as the original, but with "copy" appended, in the folder with the original document.

This just started happening this morning. If I drag the stationary pad document to the Dock and drop it on Word it behaves normally and also if I were to put it in the the Dock and click on it in there.

Just for fun I opened TextEdit and created a document there, set it as stationary and had the same problem.

I'm running Snowleopard.

Anyone know any fixes to this?
