I just installed Yosemite and although it seemed that the install went flawless now whenever I reboot or restart the computer as it's rebooting it takes a very long time and there is a load bar that appears in the lower part of the screen that no other version of OS X had. I now wonder if this is normal for loading, but assume not.

I'm wondering what's happening here. The OS X eventually loads but it is as if the install never completed and has to reinstall part before it's able to boot. I hope I've described this adequately enough for someone to know what's going on and if so please let me know how to correct this if it is abnormal or what is it doing? Should I just try and reload the whole thing?

Starting with OS X Yosemite, the spinning gear has been replaced with the loading bar.
