I finally gave up waiting and paid the 9.99 upgrade fee for MyWi... Rock and all.

Oh well, I've been having fun tethering to my iPad since!

TetherMe works great, you just have to use USB or BT which is fine by me for $2

It's under 10 bucks if you originally bought the previous version and are upgrading to iPhone 4/iOS 4.x
