Hi All,
I have a early 2011 Macbook pro, 2.7 i7 which does not chime or show a display.
It will power on - fans start, hdd spins, no chime BUT the status indicator light is solid.
I closed it one day and it wasn't able to turn back on.
Originally the SIL has a constant on/off blink at about 1 second intervals.
Now it is just solid.
Theres no Applecare and no warranty.
I've looked at some info mainly,
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2341 , http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4167
Looks like a potential GPU issue. Does anyone have any experience with these, besides replace the logic board.
Thanks in advance.
