Statusbar and CleanStatus problem

So, a few things.

First, a question: Why are my statusbars 2 different colors? What tweak does this?

(Sorry, I don't know how to make them smaller)

Second is, I had CleanStatus working earlier today, and after a respring it reverted back to normal and now I can't get it to change anything at all. Any thoughts as to why this is happening?
