Statusbar keeps reappearing in Safari

I have my statusbar hidden but almost every day it reappears, usually when I click a link and a new tab opens. There's no pattern at all so I don't know what's causing it. Has anyone experienced this? It's annoying because it repositions the windows when it reappears.

Is there maybe some Terminal command for disabling the heck out of it for good?
