I posted on some Linux related forums that in first ever Mac OS X presentation Steve Jobs said it is "Linux like" operating system . Almost all replies were no he said "Unix-like" .

Now I have found that video again .Please listen at 3:00 and let me know the context

People can hear whatever they want, he said Unix guaranteed, he was not an idiot who did not know what his operating system was based on.

Just look at the screen when he is talking... he says both.

He not only said "Linux like" it was on the screen when he said it.

Then it goes on to show that it's actually "Unix like" (Free BSD).

Man, you're gonna be embarrassed when you watch that video.

Doubt it, I was thinking another fool trying to cause something with what they imagine he said. Now I read the question posted again it and the context part it is trick question with the phrasing. Most people never read links or watch the videos, hell they will not even put their question in google search before asking it, and I did the same. It will not be the first, will not be the last time I was wrong, nothing to be embarrassed about I am human after all..
