So the iPhone 4S was my first iPhone. Got it in November of 2011. Love it, still love it. It's still plenty of phone, plenty fast, and hasn't bored me yet.
Now, we all know the 5S is coming this month. I have been able to upgrade since August 15th. So I could get a 5S and continue my S cycle, or I could keep my 4S until next fall when the 6 is released.
I cant decide if being on the S cycle is good or not. I like the S versions, because they always have better internals, updates/fixes from previous model, better camera, etc. Usually the kinks are worked out for the S. But the problem with the S cycle is you have an older LOOKING iPhone for a year longer than others who are on the regular cycle.
Keep in mind, that I will only upgrade every 2 years. I know every carrier is jumping on this "upgrade every year" trend, but every 2 years is good for me. I couldn't imagine parting with a phone after a year, it's too soon.
So what is your take on it? Anyone else who upgrades every 2 years have any input? Anyone else strictly on the S cycle?
