It's 4 AM right now and I'm bored. I can't listen to my music cause people are sleeping and there is nothin' but infomercials on TV. I always tell myself that I'll sleep early but I can't. I also took a nap earlier so that didn't help. I need to find something productive to do. Don't mind me, this is just a random thread.
 
If I can't sleep, I can sometimes relate it to either stress/anxiety, a lack of exercise, or too much caffeine. To prevent this happening again tomorrow night, maybe plan for some reasonably heavy exercise during the day. It could be fun and good for you. :cool:
 
Ugh, last night was terrible for me. I ended up logging into Warcraft at 2 am and getting our raid leader to bore me to sleep :p
 
I used to have that problem, but I found that getting up at a routine earlyish time fixed it. You can't get to sleep if you arent tired, so make yourself tired :)
 
I can feel like ***** in the afternoon and really nod myself of sleep, but once the clock strikes eleven, I am fully awake and active.

If I don't go to sleep quickly I will be wide awake for another 3 hours or so, the best I can do is to get to bed before twelve thirthy.

Weird, like my biological clock has changed or something.
 
I have worked rotating 12.5-hr shifts (day/day/night/night) for seven years and it is really starting to catch up to me. I have absolutely no set "bed time", even when I'm on vacation. I can go to sleep at noon or 9pm or 2am, depending on when I'm tired or wide awake. When I finally get to sleep it might be for 2-3 hours at a time, then I'll get up for a few hours, and then go to sleep again -- really messed-up. So much for circadian rhythms.
 
I tend to go bed at 4am now, seeing it's the holidays and I've got a lot of work to do. I work much better at night too! Just can't stick the music up loud :)

I'm the exact same, I find that during the day you can not relax and complete your tasks as the sun is out and you want to enjoy it. Come night and I can finally sit down, read the news, study, read a book, surf wikipedia, and etc.

Don't really get it either :confused:
 
I don't get to sleep most nights until 12, 1 AM anyway, but last night was horrible. It was raining cats and dogs, and I layed (Lied? Oh whatever) On my bed for 2 hours, just listening to my iPod. I finally got to sleep at 4 AM, and woke up at 7. Man I'm tired.
 
I can't believe you wake up at 7 am Cassie. My daughter sleeps until 11 am! I'm just as bad, though. I don't go to bed until 11 or 12 and wake up at 9 am.

I love to take advantage of the mornings. My body has it's own little thing where 9 times out of 10 I wake up at exactly 6:58 AM. (Even if I'm on vacation and change time zones; Yikes!)

But this morning it was my cat clawing my face that woke me up.
 
haha, I woke up at 1 pm today after falling asleep on the couch about 3 am, then going to bed at 6:30.:eek:
 
i stay up way too late too. for some reason i feel like if i go to sleep early i am missing something. i need to strt taking sleeping pills
