Stealing an upgrade for activation in store?

Hello!

Does anyone know if my family member has an upgrade but I don't, can pick up my preordered iPhone 6 in store and apple transfer the upgrade for me?

Or is it possible that they just use that upgrade and then I call verizon and they switch it over to me?

Anyone have any experiences with this?

If I recall correctly, that's a carrier thing, not an Apple store thing. So you should be able to call VZW or go to a VZW store.

I've not done this personally, unfortunately.

I found out that apple and verizon can do this. spoke to apple.
