I don't jailbreak, so I don't care. If you do jailbreak, then you should change the default root password. But you should do that anyway.

It also requires that the default root password is still "alpine". All smart jailbreakers know to change that password as soon as possible.
 
I don't jailbreak so I'm not worried either, a friend showed this to me and I thought I'd share. I know a lot of people that jailbreak without knowing to change the root, I am sure there is million's of users that don't know either aside from turning on the phone, making a call and texting.
