I just bought CoD MW2 and MW3 from Steam. when i tried to play on my iMac 21" highest spec with SSD and it seems laggy. I set the resolution and video setting to the highest. After that i turn of AA and turn sync every frame to No. things got better but still laggy.

Have anyone experience the samething?

I have both games and no matter where I play them they are laggy.
I originally got the games when I was mainly using a 2010" 15" MBP, 2.66 i7, Gt330 512mb. it was allright i had settings relatively high but it was very laggy.
I then got a 2012 15" MBP, 2.6i7, 650m 1GB and it was barely any better. I trued out the games on a 2012 27" iMac, 3.2i5, 675MX 1GB, yesterday actually and I was able to use better settings but it was still bad.
Colours and areas in a a shadow are particularly bad.

As far as I know the problem is that the games are very unoptimized as well as the graphics drivers in OSX just arnt as good as in Windows. So you dont get as good performance.

Are you referring to network lag, or dropped frames from a slower framerate?

dropped frame. But i think as what The-Pro said it could be due to the game it self not optimized for OS X.

Yesterday i try to use install win7 through bootcamp download the game. Set the setting to highest everything looks perfect no lag. so i guess it the game it self.
