Hey Guys..

I have installed steam on my iMac, every time i start my computer the steam folder starts. When i shut down the Mac i unclick the '' open windows again etc ''
What should i do to prevent the steam folder to pop up every time i start my Mac?

It's probably in your start-up items. Go to System Prefs -> Users & Groups -> Login Items to check for (and if there, remove) it.

It worked, thanks.. :)

Now i have a one more problem, i don't want to create a new thread so i will post it in this one.

I installed Google Updater to be able to use Photobucket Iphoto upload. I have removed it from my drive using AppCleaner, but not all files have been removed.

I just saw it when i went into '' Go to System Prefs -> Users & Groups -> Login Items to check for '' just as you said.

I mark the Google Updater, but i can't press the minus button.
I then right click on the Google Updater and press '' Show In Finder '', i get a single icon Google Updater Helper, when i try to delete it it says that i can't delete it because it's open. I press cmd+alt+esc but it's not open..

So how can i get rid of this? I have checked in AppCleaner but Google Updater isn't listed there anymore since i deleted it yesterday.

In most cases, app removal software such as AppCleaner doesn't do a thorough job of finding and removing files/folders related to deleted apps. For more information, read this.

The most effective method for complete app removal is manual deletion:
