Steam OS X: Multiple Monitor Support?

The hub of stupidity
Not sure if others have been having any issues with this, but I can't seem to get thing to play on more than one monitor with the in-game preferences.

I've tried forcing the resolution I want (7680x1600) in Steam's preferences...still nothing. I'm not sure if this is a driver issue on Valve's part, as 3x 30" setups work under Windows most of the time.

I'm using a 2008 8-core Mac Pro with an 8800GT and Radeon HD 2600 to push the pixels.

Any help? :)
