Have you actually tried adjusting the settings in Steermouse? I've adjusted mine to actually feel better than in Windows.

You could try USBOverdrive. The other alternative would be to buy a mouse with adjustable DPI like the Logitech G9.

The make it go faster in system preferences. If you're complaining that it's too slow and you've got it on the fastest settings in system preferences + steer mouse, then the problem is you ;)

My guess is that you've got it turned full up in SteerMouse, but turned right down in system preferences.

In system preferences it is up all the way which is too slow for me.

When i use SteerMouse i tinkered with it numerous times and it just seems jittery to me.

At work on a PC i have it turned up all the way and it is fine.

Currently i am looking into a mouse with a better dpi to see if that makes it any better. I am using this mouse http://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Notebook-Optical-Mouse-Black/dp/B00022PTUC/ref=dp_cp_ob_e_title_1 at home and at work.

Hello,

I am looking for open source solutions to steer mouse. Since the year is 2018, has anything changed since then?
