Steermouse setup on VX Revolution

I finally gave up on my wired mighty mouse and bought a logietch vx revolution.
Havnt used the LLC software since according to reviews it doesnt seem to work well.
Downloaded trial of steermouse. Lots of options!

How have you set it up to use the search button with spotlight and the zoom buttons too?
Can you get the page back/forward side buttons to work in safari.

Been playing around with it and dont seem to be able to get it so far.

Contrary to rumors, LCC is actually quite good. In fact, the mac version is as good as the Windows version is bad.

All buttons work and any button is assignable to any function, keystroke combination, or macro. It's exactly what it's supposed to be.

As an added bonus, it also stops various programs like Skitch and Linkinus from working and causes kernel panics.

I highly recommend USB Overdrive.
