Stellarium 13.3 Really slow

Hi there, I'd been using Yosemite for a while and Stellarium is running really slow. The same version of Stellarium on Mavericks runs like a little daemon.
Zooming in and out and exploring the milky way is almost impossible.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
