I have searched the Internet for a few nights now and I cannot come up with specific step-by-step instructions on how to restore Mac Mail via Time Machine backup. Or, restoring via USB drive would be fine also, but I'm still unable to find step-by-step instructions to do this as well. I am running OS X Mavericks and I will be getting my new Mac Pro delivered this month. I currently have multiple mail accounts (IMAP and POP) with many, many folders that I need installed on my new Mac Pro just as I have them currently on my iMac. When I got my iMac two years ago I was able to set up all accounts and folders just fine from my previous Mac Pro but I forgot the process to do so. Thanks for your help!

Just use /Applications/Utilities/Migration Assistant.app and use that to transfer only the Email. Warning, don't transfer the Network settings because IMHO apple seems to slightly change the network stack between OS X versions.
