I am waiting for the arrival of my MBA and wanted to prepare for migrating from my current computer using TM. I am now using a PB12" with 100G HDD that is almost full. I have TM backup to an external 500G drive. I also have .Mac where I can sync bookmarks, address book, calendars, etc. I probably need to store my iTune and iPhoto folders on the external and only select music/movies/photos that I will want to put into my MBA given the limited HDD space. If I only only want to have my Document Folder, Mail boxes, and preferences transferred, do I just connect the MBA to the external drive, use TM, select those folders and press Restore? What would I see when I first turn the MBA on? Do I use the same username as my current PB? Sorry for the seemingly dumb questions. I have had my PB for the last 4 years and am not familiar with the migrating process. Thanks!
