Hello everyone,

I have two second-generation HomePods and have been using them as speakers for my TV for a long time, without any problems so far. I have connected them to my ATV 4k 2nd Gen.

Since updating to HomeOS 26, I've been experiencing sporadic audio lags. It happens whether I'm watching a movie via Apple TV or regular TV.
The lag lasts a few seconds and the sound stutters...

I haven't changed anything on my network. As I said, everything ran smoothly under iOS 18. Has anyone else had problems since updating to 26?

Best regards

Version 26 for Homepods is real garbage.
Tried everything, rebooted each device, resetted ATV and Homepods…and still getting Audio lags.
I did not change any setting in my router; as I said things happened since update to IOS 26.
Cannot believe that Apple produces such software….

Hi,

could solve my problem by moving both Homepods to my 2.4 GHz Wifi…so far very stable connection
Wondering why everything worked fine at 5Ghz Wifi before under IOS 18.
I will keep an eye on it.
