I currently have a stereo pair of OGs and a stereo pair of Minis set up. I notice that Siri always responds from the left side on both pairs. Has anyone been able to get Siri to come from the right side? Is this effected by which HomePod is used to initiate the pair? Can’t remember how I set it up but before I break them up and reconfigure, hoping someone knows before I waste my time.

I have a stereo Mini pair in my Master Bathroom and the right side is on the wall right across from my shower. Would really be great if Siri spoke and listened through that one so I don’t have to shout across the room to change a song while I’m showering. Can just crack the door open a bit and speak. Unfortunately, the left side is taking Siri duties.

I have a stereo pair of minis in the living room and it seemed to be random which one would pick up but predominantly would be the left one. But, thinking about it now, I noticed that the right one is now picking up and I’m wondering if that’s because last night I manually invoked Siri on that particular one by pressing the top of the HomePod? Might be worth trying that?

I have the same setup as you, two OGs and two minis, and Siri responds out of the right side of both of mine. Go figure. In my case though it makes sense as the right-most speakers are usually the closer to anyone speaking to Siri.

Awesome thanks… I’ll give that a shot. I tried whispering to the right side but that didn’t work. Hopefully manually does.

Ok so it is possible. That’s good news. If Stumpy’s method doesn’t work, I’ll try unpairing them and repairing using the right side as the initiating HomePod.

I think if you tap and hold the top of the HomePod in the center for about a second to invoke Siri, it switches Siri to come from that particular HomePod on future "hey Siri" requests. That works for me, anyway.

Ok, awesome! you just confirmed Stumpy’s belief.

Thanks for the help, all! I’ll post back later if that indeed changes it. Still at work ?
