iPhone XR Stereo Video Recording Mic Input iPhone XR XS?

Hi,

I'm reading the new phones record video in stereo. Wondering if I use a stereo microphone and connect it to the XR or XS if the video will also record the sound in stereo?

Hi,

What I will have is a iPhone XR > Lightning to 3.5MM > 3.5MM TRSS > Rode Stereo Mic

But now reading it's not possible as 3.5M jack only has one audio input when you need two for stereo. No one apparently makes a lightning to 3.5M stereo adapter.
