In my own OPINION, I believe Steve Jobs actually left because he was unhappy with the product which is to be released this year. We may very well see an iPhone 4S and that is it. Sorry to all who were hoping for an iPhone 5 redesign but I'm thinking this theory makes sense. Who agrees and who disagrees?

I'm guessing he left because Sprint doesn't have coverage where he is and he's pissed they are getting the iPhone 5 exclusively

He can now easily thwart whatever Apple is doing - he is the Chairman after all.

Erm... he seems to be losing weight, so it is probably his health. Also, he hasn't fully left the company and I have no doubt that product design would be the one area of involvement he'd hold on to.

in MY own opinion, Gates offered him a position he couldn't refuse.

Steve Jobs wouldn't leave over that. He's the man in charge. If he wanted a redesigned for the next iteration, he would make it happen. If there were delays, he'd delay it then. Steve jets what he wants, more or less.

I doubt it.

Clearly it was because he didn't want to release a product which he was responsible for vs - ohhhhh I don't know..... his health?

The closer we get to the keynote, the dumber the threads are getting.

Just when I think I've seen the stupidest iPhone related theory, someone goes and tops it. People realize that there isn't a prize for the most idiotic theory, right?

If the Jobster disagreed, then it wouldn't happen. If things happened against his opinions, it would sound too uncharacteristic of him to buckle so easily. Sorry, but I just don't buy your theory.

So the guy with executive powers left his own position because he didn't like what was coming out? Yeah.

dude left cuz he is half dead and couldnt perform anymore at the level needed

Guys, guys I'm not saying it couldn't be because of his health. That's a perfectly valid reason. I'm just saying it COULD have something to do with the new iPhone. We will all see what turns up tomorrow!

Even on his weakest of days Steve Jobs can make Chuck Norris weap with a simple bat of an eyelash while holding a 2 day old puppy. Trust me if Steve wasn't happy, we all would have known about it.

Steve Jobs left because he is disgusted by you. He can't stand the fact that a device he created can deliver so much information at such a fast rate, but still manages to turn the user into a turnip.
