No... he's not a guest rapper, but he's mentioned in the lyrics of the "The Prelude," the first song on Jay-Z's upcoming album Kingdom Come.

As in, "Before Steve Jobs made the iPod..."

Is this the first mention of Steve in a song lyric (rap or otherwise)?

Chris Martin also produced the song "Beach Chair", and sort of sings in the background. The song isn't great, but neither is the song, so that isn't really his fault.

I think it's the weakest song on an otherwise very good album. Jay-Z should have been able to come up with a better cross-over attempt than that.

Mr Z also mentions ichat in one of them... I think its on "Lost ones" Oh hang on, no its not... its on one song from his new album but don't know what its called because I just deleted most of the album. Anyway he mentions ichat...

He says something about he doesn't have time to check myspace from his iMac... Along with iChat and The iPod line.

New Friend Request by Gym Class Heroes has better Apple references though...

Just Blaze, who produced several tracks on Kingdom Come is also a big Apple/Mac fan. On one of his MySpace page tracks "Bored" he mentions being up at 5 a.m. waiting for an Apple Keynote.

He's also a fan of Photo Booth.

I thought that was P Diddy...which just about goes to show how much I know about US hip-hop

London grime is where it's at, everyone knows that. :p

Uk grime hey, My part of kent's not really into that. Im with the american hip hop scene myself.

everyone probably knows this but producers mostly use macs... I always see them on making the band.
