The filing also disclosed that Apple CEO Steve Jobs' bonus in fiscal 2002 fell to $2.3 million from $43.5 million in fiscal 2001. During 2002, Jobs was also granted 7.5 million stock options under his long-term compensation employment plan. All other compensation for Jobs in 2002 totaled $1.3 million compared with $40.5 million in 2001. As in 2001 and 2000, Jobs' 2002 fiscal year salary was $1.

Well for all those who criticized, defamed, bashed, slanderized (is that right? slandered or slanderized? Maybe it's slandered now that i think of it, but anyway—) Steve Jobs for taking a 43.5 million dollar bonus plus who knows how many million in stock options in fiscal 2001, we now see in the SEC 10-K filing that his bonus fell from 43.5 million to 2.3, plus 7.5 million in stock options. I guess he got the picture from all the bit... i mean opinions that our various users expressed.

I thought the only reason it was 40Million plus last year was because that was the money for the private jet?!?

So, he's paid the same, just no new toys.

He makes plaenty of money from Pixar anyway, who really cares how much he makes at Apple?

BTW, Apple isnt even half the company Pixar is as far as product is concerned. :)

He definately makes way more at Pixar than Apple these days. Go look at the list of world-wide highest grossing movies of all time... Pixar has made 4 movies... Monsters Inc: #22. Toy Story 2: #28. Toy Story: #66. A Bug's Life: #67.

Those four movies together grossed somewhere around 1.8 billion.

I don't care...

how much steve jobs makes. I mean, he's a successful man who has done a lot in his life and he deserves compensation. Mostly I just remember how pissy everybody was in that Steve Jobs' Payment thread and hope they can get the sand out of their vaginas now. (anybody know where i got that from?) And yeah, a lot of the 43 million was for the Gulfstream. I'm glad he's getting this much money, and yeah i do realize he makes a lot more from pixar than apple. Nobody b****es about him taking money from Pixar because unlike Apple, Pixar's products have acceptable clock, or should i say frame rates ;-)
