Steve Wright has been found guilty of murdering five women in Suffolk.

The bodies of Gemma Adams, Tania Nicol, Anneli Alderton, Paula Clennell and Annette Nicholls were found in Ipswich over a 10-day period in December 2006.

Wright, 49, of Ipswich, said during his trial that he had sex with four of the five women, who were working as prostitutes, but denied killing them.

The jury at Ipswich Crown Court found him guilty of all five murders and he will be sentenced on Friday.
BBC.

From what I heard/read about the fact of this case it seemed like this was the likely outcome! Very quick decision/judgement.

Huge credit should go to the police for the way they tracked him down and handled the case.

When he is sentenced tomorrow don't think the judge will have any choice but to sentence him to a full life term.

I thought this story was going to be about that not-so-funny comedian. :(

Same here, I did a double take.

Good to see the legal system working, bet you he'll be released 12 months later because of prison overcrowding (anyone remember that big story? did it ever get fixed?)
