Hi all,

I have just made a nice scratch on the left side frame of my lcd monitors.

I am thinking if i can put some sort of stickers to cover it up. but the frame is pretty narrow specially the ones on both side.

Does anyone Have experience on putting stickers on monitors?

Or i should just use it as is? and may be save up to buy a new one?

Cheers

is it a scratch or a gouge. if it bothers you just put a sticker on it then put stickers all over the monitor so it looks somewhat normal-just with stickers

Its a scratch , i was moving my ps3 around and the gold plated HDMI cable head scratched it its pretty deep too.

Thats exactly what i intended to do, but im running out of ideal s to how and what to put on, the rest of the monitor is gloss black.

What material is the frame made of? If it's acrylic or plastic, you may be able to use a scratch remover to fill it in and buff it out. If it's metalic, touch up paint would be your best bet.

Otherwise, you could get some black vinyl and cut it up to your monitor's dimensions and stick it on. That would preserve the appearance better than stickers IMO.
