Stickies..........wtf??

ok, stickies aren't showing up on desktop........why? i open the program and do "new stickie", but it doesn't appear on my desktop.....however, os x generates a stickie because you can see there is one if you use the drop down command "window".

where are the stickies? are they invisible? how do i fix this?

stickies aren't meant to be shown on the desktop. they're individual windows that look like stickies. do you not see anything when you make a new sticky? have you tried exposé to see if they're hidden outside the screen? if they are hidden outside the viewable screen space, you can bring them in by "arranging by" whatever you choose.
