The home button on my 2 week old 3G has begun sticking and "creaking" when pushed. It even makes these sounds when I lay my finger lightly on the button without depressing it. The button works fine, but it's becoming VERY annoying, and the phone feels really cheap as a result. I'm worried that it will get worse in the future, perhaps affecting the functionality of the button. I need that button!!!
Anyways, anybody else noticed this? Think apple would replace the phone? (I'd go to the apple store there myself, but I'm traveling at the moment.) The phone has never been dropped, abused, spat on, etc. Thanks!!
