Hiya. I just bought my MBP about a week and a half ago. Immediately the "return" key was sticky. I waited about 4 days, then brought it into a genius bar. They lifted the key, and took it into their backroom. About 30 mins later they brought it back out fixed.
Now a week later the key is sticking again. I hope I'm not being too picky, but I just bought this computer, and the key feels like a coke was spilled on it. Anybody think it'd be possible to get the keyboard replaced, or what does one do in a situation like this, when the genius bar couldn't fix something..

Did you buy it from an Apple store? If so, you are within their return policy. I would explain nicely that it already had to be fixed once and would be much more comfortable with a replacement.

I've seen these Macs get replaced for much more minor issues, but this one actually affects functionality.

Nah I bought it off the refurb store. Does that make it a buyer beware situation =(?

I cannot find it explicitly stated anywhere, but since you are less than 2 weeks deep, I am confident Apple will exchange it for you. Unfortunately, you need to mail it back :(.

Either go to your Order Status page or call 1-800-676-2775 and request a Return Material Authorization (RMA). Just explain the situation and how it was already serviced once.

Good luck!
