So I followed everyone's advice after I bought my Apple Watch series 3 LTE yesterday and was complaining that Siri's voice was not working. I updated to 4.0.1 and then left my phone on, connected to wifi over night while it sat on the charger.

I woke up this morning and tested Siri and still no voice. The watch, phone are not on mute. Siri is "on" when I go into settings<general.

Should I take the watch back and exchange it or wait?

I would appreciate any advice!

You need to download Siri to the watch.

I thought Siri automatically downloaded while it was left on the charger and connected to wifi?

I had to switch Siri off and on again to see the download in progress bit at the bottom in the settings...
Turning it off from the iPhone? I only see the option to mute or turn off "hey siri" from the watch.....

Yeah, I switched that off on on... Actually, I also changed the Siri voice to 'male' on the phone and back again, so that may have kicked things off on the watch too?

I have the same issue but with Mickey and Minnie!! They won't say the times but Siri will speak !! Is there anything I can do ?

Ill just take this thing back to apple. I don't understand it. My series two had none of these issues. I don't understand why this one is being so troublesome. Thank you for your help man.
I would unpair and re-set it up before bringing back.
