Hi all,
I've got a mid 2010 iMac 3.2 GHz Intel Core i3 with 8GB ram and ATI Radeon HD 5670 512 MB
It's been a great machine but wished I had a I5 or even I7 CPU sometimes.
I've held off buying anything until the 2012 iMac. Now its nearly here I don't know if I really need it
I'm looking forward to the new SimCity game mainly, I don't want my current iMac to ruin the gameplay and graphics.
Would the new iMac 21.5" higher range version with 8GB or even 16GB and fusion drive be a massive jump.
I can see the fusion drive adding another £200 and the extra Ram because the 21.5" isn't upgradable another £160
This would make the 21.5" system about £1500, quite a lot of money. I really don't fancy the 27", screen is too big I feel.
The other option I was looking at was maybe a 13" air, anyone know much about the HD4000 graphics ? Any good for light gaming ?
Thanks all
