For some reason the mac can detect the PCs network but my PCs arent detecting the mac. I followed the networking instructions still nothing...can someone help me please?

on your mac in prefs you have sharing , in there is a tick box for windows share

once enabled you will need to set up a user name and pass

it will give you an ip address like \\10.10.10.10\macrumorsmember

try it by typing this into the address bar in windows , a box will pop up with username and password - type in and you just made it work!

to save this network drive go to tools and map network drive - selct drive letter and pop address in - put user name and password in and your done

all done from memory not that good so might have forgot something there:)

I'm at map network drive but now im stuck what to do. It has every drive there except C and im not sure what to do with folder?

you can't use C: as you already got that - pick g: and type in the box your 10.10.... what ever you got and press next
