Still get taps while I use my iphone - help

So i'm texting back and forth with my friend on my iphone but keep getting notification taps on my watch. It's kinda annoying. Didn't happen with my old AW but my AW3 does this. Anyone else?

I have never had that happen to me and I have a series 1

Occasionally happens. Seems to be a glitch. A reboot of both the watch and phone seems to get things back.
Use to happen occasionally with watchOS 1-3. Seemed like the watch and phone got out of sync somehow. Same with calendars or email. Hasn’t happened to me yet with watchOS 4, fortunately.
