Ok, as most of you, I had installer.app and also itoner for my ringtones. Well after the update I went to see if my ringtones were still there and they weren't (no suprise) but I had a few assigned as custom tones for Jamie, Renee, Abe, and etc. and Jamie just called me today and it still played that custom song! So they aren't visible but they still work for those people. Thought that was kinda weird.

just to let you know there is also a work around on 1.1.1 with itunes 7.4 that allows you to put in custom ringtones... its a little tricky but it works look for the thread... works pretty well tho

They work, but recently I've noticed I can't listen to them in settings nor can I use them as Alarm sounds. Too bad I found out the later after oversleeping due to the alarm not sounding.

my alarm sound still works haha i just realized. Had to think about how I got up in the morning. sorry to hear that man that sucks

I have used the makeiphoneringtone workaround and can hear the sounds on the Alarm.

Hm, I did the .m4a to .m4r extension manual conversion in iTunes 7.4. Dern, I need me a smoother wake-up than Marimba. Its peculiar, because iTunes plays the files fine, but the iPhone (with 1.1.1) refuses to play them.
