Still haven't updated my iPhone 4s to ios7...

I was wondering if there is a way to update my iPhone 4S to iOS7 (I never did it all this time)? When I go to the update tab now it only shows the option to update to ios 8. I don't have memory for that and I prefer to just update to 7, if possible.

Any help or advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Yes, download the iOS 7.1.2 IPSW from here: http://appldnld.apple.com/iOS7.1/031-4816.20140627.XQbdQ/iPhone4,1_7.1.2_11D257_Restore.ipsw Then while holding shift (Windows) or option (Mac), click the Update button in iTunes then select the iOS 7.1.2 IPSW. You should do this as soon as possible. Apple will stop signing iOS 7.1.2 at any hour now.

Thanks - But I am a little confused then...

Do I do this on my computer or directly on my phone? Will I need to do a sync to my computer then?

BTW - Where is the "update" button in iTunes?

Do it on your computer. A sync and backup is highly recommended, but not required.

Hurry, the window can close any minute now and then the only thing you can do is restore/update to ios 8.

Thanks - so its downloading but it says 2.5 hours. Hopefully it works out.

So if no sync is necessary how will I access the update on my phone?

Also, where is the "update" button in iTunes?

Connect your device to iTunes and you'll see the Update button. Note: If you don't have a backup in either iCloud or iTunes, the update may erase your device. Hence why it is strongly recommended to have a backup and sync it with your computer.
