Still having a hard time...

Hey guys -
Im still having a ridiculously hard time deciding on whether I should get the CandyShell or the Commuter. I currently have the Griffin Flexigrip because I wasn't going to leave the Apple store without a case for my new phone. Now I really would like a solid case because I feel that silicone makes things feel cheap. But I have heard a lot of issues with both cases and now I am just lost.

Help?

I purchased a speck candyshell the day I got my iPhone 4. I loved it but now I'm starting to really dislike it. I've actually taken it off and haven't used it in a while. After about 3 weeks of having it, the glossy back has scratched up beyond belief. And I'm also having issues with the silicone boarder that comes up for the lay on the table design. It's starting to peel and it just looks gross. I really hate it. I just took a few pictures of it with my iPhone. I hope you can see what I mean. It's only happening on that one side and it's really annoying.
