Local snapshots are the bane of my existence.
I would LIKE to install Yosemite, but these damned snapshots won't let me. I have tried disabling them (sudo tmutil disablelocal, IIRC) and waiting a day or two, then rebooting, and Yosemite still thinks I use my hard drive for local backups, and thus won't install. This is driving me crazy. I am not super computer savvy - I can do what I have to, but I'm not interested in programming/hacking so I'm more pure user than anything - and I have nothing left in my bag of tricks, nor can I find any useful tricks online.
Any help/insight would be appreciated.
