Still image from video in IMovie???

Hello
I am new to IMovie...how do I pull a still photo from my video clip? I tried in quick time player...but I do not have the pro version & do not want to buy it now. Any other ways of doing this? I do have the complete CS4 suite as well...
Any help is very much appreciated!

I just take a screenshot (command+shift+3) and crop to taste.
