So, where I live, pre-orders start this Friday (September 19) and the release of the iPhone 6 and 6+ is on September 29.

I'm still not sure which model to pre-order. I even printed the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus templates to 'see' their actual sizes. Still not sure what model to pick, though.

iPhone 6+ Pros
  • 5.5" display*
  • Improved battery life**
  • Optical Image Stabilization***
  • 1920 x 1080 resolution, 401 ppi****

* I really like the idea of an iPhone with such a large display
** I feel like battery life on my current iPhone 5 is just a bit too short
*** Nice to have, but not a dealbreaker
**** I watch a lot of Netflix, YouTube, etc. in 1080p - so 1:1 pixel mapping (for video) would be great. Also, I just like the idea of an even sharper display

iPhone 6 (4.7") Pros
  • 4.7" display is still a nice increase in display size*
  • Much more portable!**
  • Better battery life than my current iPhone 5***

* It's a decent increase, but I'm afraid I'll always think "should have gone for the 5.5" model"
** This is important! Portability! It must fit in my jeans as I carry my phone, basically, at all times
*** Battery life is still better than on my iPhone 5, but somehow, I simply fear it won't really be an improvement

Basically, I feel like the 6+ might be a bit too tall and a bit too wide to fit comfortably in my jeans.
