Can't make up my mind on a case for my iPad 3 Refurb (I get it in the mail on Tuesday and want to get a case).

1. Apple Smart Cover

2. Apple Smart Case

3. INVELLOP Leatherette Case Cover

I like the style of these....I like the smart cover, but think I should protect the back too....

Thoughts? Don't want to spend more than $40ish....
 
iam going to wait for the otter box case to come out it might be a while yet but it will be worth it from drops and damages at the end of the day i want to sell this one i have at the end of the year and get the new one when it comes out and using a Otterbox case will keep it like brand new my brother has Otterbox for his iPhone 4 and he has dropped he's phone 100s of times and the case till is fine and working perfect.
 
Just came from the Apple Store. I bought the smart cover. I just didn't like the feel of the smart case. Now I'll need to find a cover for the back, or a skin...
 
Do I spend $40 on the smart cover and then another $20ish on a back case or just spend money on one case that covers both....like the INVELLOP for $20?
 
the smartcover/smartfeather will be easier to pack and lug around than the invellop...but get what you want...money has never entered into getting exactly what I wanted...
 
So many tough decisions!! I want to keep the sleek look, but have it somewhat protected from scratches...

there is nothing sleeker than a smartcover and a rear skin...clear, colored or CF....then pack it away in a sleeve - sfbags.com has good ones...

but don't get OCD about it, scratches will happen...
 
I would wait for the BookBook from Twelve South if I got a mini. I am going to get it for my full size iPad here soon. It is my favorite iPad case.
 
I guess I'm in the minority here but I love my Invellop leatherette case. It's slim fitting, the magnetic on and off works, and it covers both the front and the back. I got it in chocolate brown.
 
I was able to get the Apple Smart Cover (tan, leather) at Target for $14 so I think I'll use that one for now....
