It is a bit ridiculous that Apple has still not released a new Dual Dock for the iPhone 3G and Apple BT headset over 2 months after the release of the iPhone 3G. For those of us users who had the original iPhone and the BT headset, and became very accustomed to charging the iPhone and headset in the dock, it is rather annoying to need to plug the headset alone into the dock and the iPhone into a cable. I have not had the time or inclination to buy a dremel bit as some have done to modify my original dual dock to fit the new iPhone. And without charging them together you do not get the nice onscreen headset showing you the charging status. I have the cable that essentially does the same thing but use that at work and prefer to use the dock at home which stands both items up. I really wish Apple would come out with a new version for the 3G.
