Any ideas why Apple doesn't use a shopping cart for the App Store? Or at least allow users to bookmark or save for later? There are so many times when I'm out and about and find a good app, but want to wait to download it when I'm wifi-connected. iTunes and iBooks don't either, but songs and books are smaller. Apple must have a good reason for not doing it. I just can figure out what it is.

Wishlist/save list would be nice, but I don't really see the point of a cart. The store is built around a click-to-buy setup, and I think it works pretty well. If they introduced a cart, they'd have to redo the whole way the App Store operates.

No, you could simply tap to hold on buy, and be given the option to add to cart/wish list .

Didn't they change it so it doesn't kick you back to the Home screen after you buy an app, so if you want to buy multiple apps, you don't have to do back into the App Store every time?

If this was added, I don't see the need for a cart.

There is a wishlist for iOS apps but it's only in iTunes on your computer. I agree that they should at the very least give your access to your iTunes wishlist in iOS. Don't see a need for a cart now that IOS 6 doesn't kick you out of the App Store anymore after initiating a download.
