I've never liked cover flow. IMO, it's such an inefficient way to browse your music collection.

I like cover flow and wish it was on the iPad. Gives you that "flipping through my CDs" feeling. Sometimes when I can't decide what to listen to, an old familiar album cover will bring back a memory and make the decision for me.

I think they omitted it because unlike the iPhone that is designed to be operated primarily in portrait mode the iPad can be used in any direction. I myself almost always use it in Landscape mode, if the cover flow operated the same way I would be a very annoyed user. Of course the best solution would be an option to enable or disable cover flow in the settings.

And while you are at it, why no iTunes LP?, which was released like 3 years ago.

This is exactly what i do!:)

I have coverflow on my iPhone and I RARELY use it. It's nice eye candy to look at your album cover art and to show off to someone every once in a great while, but if I am looking for an album I just scroll through the list.

I have got Cover Flow for iPad yehhh

I bough Reflection Music Player last night and now have cover flow on my ipad, plus visualizastions and Graphic EQ.

I just love scrolling through my albums with Cover Flow, only problem now is I need a bigger iPad to add more albums.
