I hope someone can let me know something because as far as I've seen there still is not a mac app like XenonMKV or Gotsent for Windows that converts mkv to mp4 (without a long re-encode) and is compatible with the Xbox 360. Quicktime's passthrough method is fast but it doesn't always result in a file that the 360 can playback. Never had success with visual hub. Is there still not a mac app that is a "one stop shop" for this? I've seriously been looking for over a year and it seems something like this would be large in demand by Mac and Xbox 360 owners.

Have you tried handbrake?
It should encode it faster, but I´m not sure about the xbox playback.
Also, the transcoder in Vuze is suppose to deal with mkv files as well, but I've yet to try it yet.

Ok but i thought Handbrake re-encodes the video which takes hours. Quicktime's passthrough conversion only takes 10-15 min but again, it doesn't always work with the 360.
