Still No "Pair AirPods"

It still only gets you to the settings pane when you say "Pair AirPods". I don't get why it does not go and pair the air pods. My echo pairs...

It’s annoying isn’t it?

I found if you are on the home screen you can hold down the play/pause button and it should show your AirPods (or other Bluetooth devices) for quick pairing.

Thanks I will give it a try. "pair AirPods" should be pretty easy. Make it happen Apple!
